Työyhteisön sisäisen viestinnän haasteet organisaation muutoksessa

Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin työyhteisön sisäistä viestintää organisaation muutostilanteessa. Tutkimuskohde oli uusi yksikkö, joka kuuluu moniammatilliseen koulutusorganisaatioon. Tutkimuksella selvitettiin tiedonkulun toimivuutta yksikössä ja sen organisaation sisäisten yhteistyökumppaneiden kesken. Information Integration, Coordination Failures, and Quality of Prescribing

Poor information flows hamper coordination, potentially leading to suboptimal decisions in health care. We examine the effects of a nationwide policy of information integration on the quality of prescribing. We use the rollout of an electronic prescribing system in Finland and prescription-level administrative data. We find no effect on the probability of co-prescribing harmful drug combinations in urban regions. In rural regions, this probability reduces substantially, by 35 percent. The effect is driven by prescriptions from unspecialized physicians and from multiple physicians. Of the 12 different tools and platforms that are used in citizen science activities, the top three were websites, smartphones and databases. Respondents to a survey conducted by the CS Track project indicated that they used technology primarily for gathering scientific data and knowledge as well as for communication and dissemination of information with other enthusiasts and researchers. nonPeerReviewed

Our study examines vicarious learning–related communication through which individuals share their observations with other organizational members. Palkka-avoimuus on ajankohtainen, mutta vähän tutkittu viestinnän aihealue. Palkka-avoimuudella voidaan vaikuttaa palkkatietämyksen lisääntymiseen, ja siten palkkasyrjintään ja palkkaoikeudenmukaisuuteen. Näin ollen palkka-avoimuudella voidaan lisätä myös työtyytyväisyyttä. Viestintä on olennainen työkalu työyhteisön avoimuuden ja palkka-avoimuuden rakentamisessa.
