Queste note vogliono mettere in relazione la forma architettonica del teatro alla messa in scena, cercando di riflettere su una frattura che esiste tra il mondo dell’architettura e quello delle arti sceniche. Occorre, al fine di creare una partecipazione attiva del pubblico all’azione, interrogare questo spazio duale, ritenuto spesso invalicabile, e rimetterlo in discussione non volendo negare a priori la sua ‘consacrata’ spazialità. Il regista e lo scenografo, lavorando insieme, possono creare varianti al ‘vecchio sistema’ forzando il tradizionale rapporto dell’intera macchina teatrale.

The unique nature of optical properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT), together with their promising potential applications, have created enormous interest towards the photophysics of SWCNT. Many aspects of carbon nanotubes originate from the electronic structure of carbon honeycomb lattice and one-dimensionality. SWCNTs exist in various chiral structures and diameters, which the optical and electrical properties are dependent on. Previous studies show that many students with reading and spelling problems have a lack of progress in reading and spelling skills after years of special education services. The aim of the study is to evaluate the reading and spelling skills of Finnish children in grades 1 and 2 receiving part-time special education from special education teachers for reading and spelling difficulties (RSD) and for RSD with other learning difficulties. In this study, the focus is in the roles of the form and the amount of part-time special education in reading and spelling skills development. Spin-parity of the 13.35 MeV state and high-lying states around 20 MeV in excitation energy in 12C nucleus

A study of the 11B(3He,d)12C reaction at incident 3He energy Elab = 25 MeV has been performed at the K-130 cyclotron at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Differential cross sections have been measured for the 13.35 MeV state and for the states with excitation energy around 20 MeV in 12C. The data were analyzed with the DWBA method. A tentative assignment, 4−, is given for the state at 13.35 MeV in a joint study of the reaction and inelastic scattering of α-particles with the energy of 110 MeV. Signatures of enhanced octupole correlations at high spin in 136Nd

Experimental signatures of moderately enhanced octupole correlations at high spin in 136Nd are indicated for the first time. The extracted dipole moments of two negative-parity bands are only two times smaller than those of the lanthanide nuclei with N≈90 which present well-established octupole correlations. Calculations using the cranked quasiparticle random phase approximation and a model of quadrupole-octupole rotations with octupole vibrations reveal the structure of the bands and the enhanced octupole correlations at high spin in 136Nd. peerReviewed

An Examination of Tourist Arrivals Dynamics Using Short-Term Time Series Data: A Space—Time Cluster Approach

The purpose of this study is to examine the development of Italian tourist areas ( circoscrizioni turistiche) through a cluster analysis of short time series. The technique is an adaptation of the functional data analysis approach developed by Abraham et al (2003), which combines spline interpolation with k-means clustering. The findings indicate the presence of two patterns (increasing and stable) averagely characterizing groups of territories. Moreover, tests of spatial contiguity suggest the presence of ‘space–time clusters’; that is, areas in the same ‘time cluster’ are also spatially contiguous.
