An empirically grounded agent based model for modeling directs, conflict detection and resolution operations in air traffic management

We present an agent based model of the Air Traffic Management socio-technical complex system that aims at modeling the interactions between aircrafts and air traffic controllers at a tactical level. The core of the model is given by the conflict detection and resolution module and by the directs module. Directs are flight shortcuts that are given by air controllers to speed up the passage of an aircraft within a certain airspace and therefore to facilitate airline operations. The aim of this research is to propose an analysis of the trajectories of cruise passengers at their destination using Dynamic Time Warping algorithm. Data collected by means of GPS devices relating to the behavior of cruise passengers in the port of Palermo have been analyzed in order to show similarities and differences among their spatial trajectories at destination. A cluster analysis has been performed in order to identify segments of cruise passengers, based on the similarity of their trajectories. Optimal Control Under Fuzzy Conditions for Dynamical Systems Associated with the Second Order Linear Differential Equations

This paper is devoted to an optimal trajectory planning problem with uncertainty in location conditions considered as a problem of constrained optimal control for dynamical systems. Fuzzy numbers are used to incorporate uncertainty of constraints into the classical setting of the problem under consideration. The proposed approach applied to dynamical systems associated with the second order linear differential equations allows to find an optimal control law at each \(\alpha \)-level using spline-based methods developed in the framework of the theory of splines in convex sets. The solution technique is illustrated by numerical examples.

Le présent article examine dans quelle mesure l’organisation des trajectoires scolaires et les parcours conduisant à l'enseignement supérieur favorisent la mobilité sociale ou au contraire la reproduction des inégalités. Nous avons comparé trois pays : la France, la Suisse et le Canada. Les résultats obtenus à partir des données tirées des panels d’enquêtes menées dans ces trois pays permettent d’observer deux situations inversées. Plus l’enseignement supérieur est valorisé au détriment de la formation professionnelle, plus les inégalités ont tendance à s’exacerber.
