En el presente artículo, analizaremos al detalle la refiguración posmoderna del mito clásico de Narciso en el largometraje Yo soy otro (2008), dirigido por el cineasta colombiano Óscar Campo. Según argüiremos desde una amplia perspectiva filosófica enfocada en las epistemologías contemporáneas del individuo posmetafísico, este filme propone una apropiación audaz de la trágica historia del efebo heleno que subsume las preocupaciones existenciales que determinan al sujeto contemporáneo y causan su auto-absorción individualista, su líquida impotencia, su falta de referentes trascendentales y sus pulsiones mortíferas.

In the past few decades, many have been transformed into places of remembrance where the traumatic events that affected the whole community can be addressed. In this paper we want to consider the inner connection between Kant and Goethe; therefore we want to emphasize primarily aspects they have in common rather than points of opposition. Fichte's and Husserl's critique of Kant's transcendental deduction

The specific topic of this chapter is the difference between the attempt in speculative and dialectical thinking on the one hand, and transcendental phenomenology on the other, to solve the enigmas presented by Kant’s transcendental deduction. The thesis is that they are diametrically opposed. The main concern is systematic and not philological-historical. Hegel’s Non-Metaphysical Idea of Freedom

the article explores the putatively non-metaphysical – non-voluntarist, and even non-causal – concept of freedom outlined in Hegel’s work and discusses its influential interpretation by robert Pippin as an ‘essentially practical’ concept. I argue that Hegel’s affirmation of freedom must be distinguished from that of Kant and Fichte, since it does not rely on a prior understanding of self-consciousness as an originally teleological relation and it has not the nature of a claim ‘from a practical point of view’.

Quest’opera risulta essere l’esplicazione, o la maturazione, della fenomenologia trascendentale assimilata da Sartre negli anni della sua giovinezza. Among the numerous works of Jean-Paul Sartre, the 1943 monograph on “Being and Nothingness” is commonly considered the French philosopher's fundamental writing. This work turns out to be the explication, or the maturation, of the transcendental phenomenology assimilated by Sartre in the years of his youth.

A walk on sunset boulevard can teach us about transcendental functions associated to Feynman diagrams. On this guided tour we will see multiple polylogarithms, differential equations and elliptic curves. A highlight of the tour will be the generalisation of the polylogarithms to the elliptic setting and the all-order solution for the sunset integral in the equal mass case.

This article examines the way in which the Holocaust was linked to the process of the birth of Israel between 1947 and 1948 in the mainstream British, Swedish and Finnish press. By utilising a framework of comparative cultural history, this essay seeks to understand why different countries responded to the suffering of the Jews during the Second World War in such diverse ways. This essay also seeks to question the popular belief that the two events were intimately linked, and that the link was recognised in a straightforward manner. Aquest article comenta un text de la Crítica de la Raó Pura (B. 113-116) en què Kant fa referència a la doctrina clàssica dels transcendentals (Unum, Verum i Bonum). Es rebutja la interpretació de Torreti, que identifica l’Unum transcendental amb la unitat sintètica de l’apercepció, i es defensa una segona interpretació, segons la qual els transcendentals, en el tractament kantià, prefiguren les propietats centrals estudiades per la metalògica contemporània: consistència, decidibilitat i completesa.
