Privātskološana un vecāku satraukums par izglītību Ķīnas "dubultās samazināšanas" politikas kontekstā

Privātskološanas izplatība politikas veidotājiem rada grūtības. Ķīnas “Dubultās samazināšanas” politika paredz samazināt privātskološanu, lai atvieglotu slodzi skolēniem. Šī darba mērķis ir atrast galvenos cēloņus, kāpēc vecākiem ir trauksme par savu bērnu izglītību, meklējot saistību starp privātskološanu un vecāku satraukumu par bērnu izglītību. Pētījums ir balstīts uz literatūras izpēti un anketu, kurā piedalījās 656 vecāki, kuru bērni ir 1. līdz 12. klases skolēni Ķīnā. Audit Regulation, Auditor Industry Expertise and Effects on Audit Pricing

The diversity of regulations that govern statutory audit in European countries provides the opportunity to analyse how audit regulation affects audit fees. This study is the first to analyse empirically the joint effect of audit regulation and auditor expertise on audit fees for the institutional setting of 14 European countries by using a sample of 4,293 European firms for the period from 2003 to 2011. I analyse four attributes of audit regulation, namely terms for annual renewal of the mandate, nature of the auditors’ liability, whether the state requires joint audits and whether it imposes restrictions on the provision of non-audit services. A 2012 Expert Panel Report on marine biodiversity by the Royal Society of Canada (RSC) concluded that Canada faced significant challenges in achieving sustainable fisheries, regulating aquaculture, and accounting for climate change. Relative to many countries, progress by Canada in fulfilling international obligations to sustain biodiversity was deemed poor. To track progress by Canada since 2012, the RSC struck a committee to track policy and statutory developments on matters pertaining to marine biodiversity and to identify policy challenges, and leading options for implementation that lie ahead. Designers of interactive learning environments with a focus on word problem solving usually have to compromise between the amount of resolution paths that a user is allowed to follow and the quality of the feedback provided. We have built an intelligent tutoring system (ITS) that is able to both track the user's actions and provide adequate supervision during the resolution. This is done without imposing any restriction on the resolution paths that are allowed.
