Psychological processes of ACL-patients' post-surgery rehabilitation : A prospective test of an integrated theoretical model

Objectives: The aim of this prospective study was to examine the utility of an integrated model comprising constructs from self-determination theory (SDT) and the theory of planned behavior (TPB) in predicting adherence to a post-surgery rehabilitation program in patients receiving anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. Constructs of the integrated model measured at baseline were expected to predict patients' rehabilitation adherence two months later. Satversmes tiesas spriedumu izpilde un efektivitāte

Konstitucionālās kontroles nozīme mūsdienīgā demokrātiskā tiesiskā valstī ir pašsaprotama. Tomēr konstitucionāla tiesa attaisno savu pastāvēšanu tikai tad, ja tās nolēmumiem praksē ir pozitīva ietekme uz tiesisko sistēmu. Tāpēc maģistra darbā izpētītas praksē pastāvošās Satversmes tiesas spriedumu izpildes problēmas. Attiecīgi izdarīti secinājumi par to, vai tiesiskais regulējums rada nepieciešamos priekšnoteikumus Satversmes tiesas spriedumu pienācīgai izpildei. Maģistra darbā atklāti arī citi faktori, kas noteic konstitucionālās kontroles lomu un nozīmi tiesiskajā sistēmā. Atbilstoši tiem izdarīti secinājumi par Satversmes tiesas efektivitāti.

Aim To study the psychometric properties, reliability, and validity of the FinDiab quality of life questionnaire (FDQL), a strength‐oriented quality of life (QOL) questionnaire for children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Methods Participants were 215 youths with T1D (aged 10–17 years). They completed FDQL and comparison questionnaires (KINDL‐R and SDQ). One of the main challenges faced by physical therapy (PT) students is to learn the practical skills involved in neurological physical therapy (PT). To help them to acquire these skills, a set of rubrics were designed for formative purposes. This paper presents the process followed in the creation of these rubrics and their application in the classroom, noting that students perceived them as valid, reliable, and highly useful for learning. Dentro del campo de las enfermedades infecciosas las vacunas se han convertido en esa arma y han permitido controlar muchas de ellas. Hoy en día hay un gran número de enfermedades infecciosas emergentes para las que no existen vacunas o enfermedades olvidadas que están reemergiendo.
