Great expectations: Learning the boundaries of design rights

We present a case study of an increase in design right filings and concurrent design right litigations in an industry that previously had little experience of design right protection. The motives for and outcomes of filing, and how these changed over time are discussed. We go on to explore the events, which offered the decision makers opportunities to update their beliefs about the scope of design right protection. We find that filing motives changed from specific protection goals to freedom to operate over time. We also find that the actors faced several, but sometimes contradictory, learning opportunities. Studying in Comprehensive School with Low Second Language Writing Proficiency

In this article, we report a case study on the Finnish as an L2 writing skill of weak writers in grades 7–9 of comprehensive school. The study is based on writing performances of 25 students who each completed four different writing tasks (i.e., 100 texts) and a questionnaire about their background information, self-assessment of writing and literacy practices. First, we discuss target language writing proficiency in the school context from the curriculum and pedagogical point of view. Liisa Remeksen väitöstutkimuksen keskeinen teesi on, että yrittäjyyskasvatuksen oppimisjärjestelyjen on viestittävä yrittäjyydestä toimintatapana. Keskeisiksi näyttävät silloin nousevan keskusteleminen ja yhteistoiminta.Tutkimuksessa selvitetään, mitä on yrittäjyyskasvatuksen oppi oppimisesta eli sille luonteenomainen pedagogia.
