Nordic countries stand out from the rest of the Europe in terms of job quality. Comparative research literature sought to explain the distinctiveness of Nordic countries with diverse sets of institutional frameworks. Tässä pro gradu -työssä tarkastellaan YAD Youth Against Drugs ry:n luomaa matalan kynnyksen vapaaehtoistyön mallia. Tämän Street Teamiksi nimetyn mallin tavoitteena on, että kuka tahansa missä päin tahansa Suomea pystyisi tekemään huumekriittistä vapaaehtoistyötä juuri silloin kun haluaa ja ehtii. Street Teamissä keskiössä on vertaisvaikuttaminen ja sosiaalisen median hyödyntäminen siinä. Tämä pro gradu on muodoltaan työnäyte. Lähtökohtana on ollut RAY:n rahoittama kolmivuotinen projekti. In Finland the use of public relations (PR) agencies and consultants in political decision making has increased in the last two decades. The development of the Finnish political realm has been similar to that of other Nordic countries where the PR industry has built a strong linkage to the political sphere. The present study analyses how Finnish PR consultants with a political background use and attempt to influence the news media as part of lobbying processes to advance their clients' causes. Tutkin työssäni, miten eri-ikäiset peruskoululaiset hahmottavat eri vallankäytön rakenteiden ympärillään rakentuvan. Kenellä koululaiset hahmottavat olevan valtaa vaikuttaa yhteisiin asioihin ja millaisina he näkevät omat vaikuttamisen mahdollisuutensa näiden rakenteiden keskellä? Aihetta on tärkeä tutkia, sillä jo valtakunnallinen opetussuunnitelma nimeää yhdeksi koulujen keskeiseksi tehtäväksi kansalaisten kasvattamisen aktiivisiksi yhteiskunnan jäseniksi. This paper explores whether the perceptions of forest owners and professionals could be nudged towards more sustainable management practices by adjusting a policy text's metaphorical content. Recent research has demonstrated a link between information interventions and preference change, but there is a need to further explore individuals' reactions to information on forest-based ecosystem services and to link these to the design of policy instruments.
