Electroencephalographic (EEG) frontal alpha asymmetry (FAA) and frontal midline (FM) theta have been suggested as biomarkers for depression and anxiety, but have mostly been assessed in small and non-clinical studies. In a clinical sample of 79 adults with depression (ICD-10: F32), resting EEG and scales of depression (MADRS) and anxiety (HADS-A) were measured at intake and after 3 months. The use of instruments to measure it in Portugal, has been the subject of several studies, such as the adaptation of the Cuestionario de Satisfacción Laboral S20/23 (Meliá & Peiró, 1989) to Portuguese population carried out by Pocinho and García (2008). Abstract Forty years ago in a xx th-century church in Torino, a small fire partially burned some of the decorative external boards of the sound-box of the organ. The focus of this present work was to find a treatment able to consolidate partially burnt wood in dry conditions, in which the external charred layer would be lost if not well preserved because of its incoherence.
