The article is a reflection on the search for authority in education. In the article we look for the answers to the following ąuestions: Does the authority lost its importance? What is it in fact? In the building of the authority - education process plays a significant role, especially morał education. The socio-cultural changes, which take place in a contemporary world, influence on intergenerational transfer of norms, views and creation of young generation's cultural Capital. The authońs empirical materiał, collected throughout the last 20 years, depicts chosen elements of objective socialization which, being present in a few interviewed groups of youth, specify the inner-family transfer of norms and values. The heterogeneousness of the researched groups indicates the complicated character of the described phenomenon.

The evaluation of soccer players’ physical fitness from youth onward is important for monitoring performance and planning training. While health-related factors present valid and reliable tests, the skill-related component should be studied in depth. An interesting test to evaluate the skill-related factors is the Harre circuit test (HTC); unfortunately, this test includes the somersault, an element not present in soccer. Rapport, commandité par le Grand Dijon; Ce rapport rend compte de l'évaluation des projets de réussite éducative de l'agglomération dijonnaise. La première partie vise à cerner les enjeux de la réussite éducative et présente les grandes lignes de la démarche d'évaluation. La seconde partie s'attache à décrire le contexte d'intervention du projet sur les territoires en termes de public et d'actions. La troisième partie traite de l'efficacité du projet dans ses différentes dimensions. En conclusion, les pistes de réflexion les plus pertinentes sont dégagées sur la base de l'ensemble des analyses produites lors de cette évaluation.

Human capital formation : state or market management This paper examines the likely difficulties of the management by the state of the education sector. Concerning the operation of the system, the analysis is based on international comparisons and on the French experience. As a whole the difficulties are linked to the weak accountability and justification in the use of the resources mobilized. This arises from the absence of the regulatory mechanisms as those existing in a market oriented activity. Este artículo presenta los principales temas abordados por los economistas de la educación a lo largo de los últimos cincuenta años. Después de recordar brevemente los antecedentes de la disciplina, se describen las aportaciones teóricas y empíricas realizadas a raíz del desarrollo de la teoría del capital humano, que es el fundamento de la economía de la educación. Más allá de los trabajos que tratan de los efectos externos de la educación, el artículo repasa también las principales aportaciones efectuadas en el análisis de los sistemas de enseñanza y en la evaluación de las políticas educativas.
