Työuupumuksen lievittämiseksi on alettu maailmalla käyttää mindfulness-, hyväksyntä- ja arvopohjaisia (MIHA) -menetelmiä. Muupu-tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää, voidaanko uudenlaisella, kahdeksanviikkoisella MIHA- ohjelmalla lievittää työuupumusoireita tehokkaasti. Ohjelma toteutettiin ryhmä- ja verkkointervention yhdistelmänä. Muupu-tutkimuksessa selvitettiin sekä ohjelman vaikuttavuutta että sen vaikutusmekanismeja. 218 tutkittavaa satunnaistettiin kahteen ryhmään: MIHA-interventioryhmään ja tavanomaista tukea (TAV) saavien ryhmään. A new approach to calibrate the thermal conditions in space charge measurements on HVDC mini-cables

The PEA method is currently widespread used for space charge measurements in mini-cables in order to qualify the behavior of semicon-dielectric-semicon compound under electric and thermal stress. The main goal of this research is to quantitatively evaluate the relationship between the thermal boundary conditions applied to cables or mini-cables and the maximum local electric field due to the accumulated space charge. Maahanmuuttajien määrän lisääntyminen Suomessa 1990-luvulta lähtien ja samaan aikaan tapahtunut yhteiskunnallinen murros näkyvät koulun arjessa. Näiden asioiden myötä opettajan yhteiskunnallinen vastuu on lisääntynyt. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kartoittaa opettajien monikulttuurisia valmiuksia ylläpitää erilaisten oppijoiden arvokkuutta. Opettajan selkiintynyt minäkuva, arvomaailma ja ammatillisuus mahdollistavat myönteisen suhtautumisen elämään ja työhön. Opettajan työ helpottuu, jos koulun ilmapiiri tukee erilaisuuden hyväksymistä opettajien välisen, opettaja-oppilas -välisen sekä koulun ja vanhempien välisen avoimen vuorovaikutuksen kautta.
