The present thesis is about Dehn surgeries and smooth structures associated with transitive Anosov flows in dimension three. Anosov flows constitute a very important class of dynamical systems, because of its persistent chaotic behaviour, as well as for its rich interaction with the topology of the ambient space. Even if a lot is known about the dynamical and ergodic properties of these systems, there is not a clear understanding about how to classify its different orbital equivalence classes. In this dissertation, we study the underlying geometry of integrable systems, in particular tausymmetric bi-Hamiltonian hierarchies of evolutionary PDEs and differential-difference equations.First, we explore the close connection between the realms of integrable systems and algebraic geometry by giving a new proof of the Witten conjecture, which constructs the string taufunction of the Korteweg-de Vries hierarchy via intersection theory of the moduli spaces of stable curves with marked points. Motives of quadric bundles and relative intermediate jacobians of K3-Fano pairs

This thesis consists of two parts. In the first part we study the Chow motive of a quadric bundle of odd relative dimension over a surface. We show that this motive admits a decomposition which involves the Prym motive of the double covering of the discriminant curve.In the second part, we consider Lagrangian fibrations, obtained as relative intermediate Jacobians of families of Fano threefolds containing a fixed K3 surface, and the existence of a symplectic compactification. In a particular case, we study a partial compactification using calculations with the software system Macaulay2.

We prove the existence of a minimal geometrico-dynamical condition to create hyperbolicity in section in the vicinity of a transversal homoclinic partially hyperbolic torus in a near integrable Hamiltonian system with three degrees of freedom. We deduce in this context a generalization of the Easton's theorem of symbolic dynamics. The aim of this thesis is to extend the results of the article [B-M] on the relations between moment-angle complexes and complex manifolds. We will focus here on moment-angle complexes defined by a simplicial (not only polytopal) decomposition of the sphere. We will also seek to use the relationship between these two kinds of objects to be understand the topology of several complex manifolds. Hyperbolic actions of the multiplicative group on affine varieties : exotic spaces and local structures

This thesis is devoted to the study of affine T-varieties using the Altmann-Hausen presentation. We are especially interested in the case of hyperbolic actions of the multiplicative group Gm. In the first part, exotic affine spaces are studied, that is, smooth contractible affine varieties, assuming in addition that they are endowed with a Gm-action. En grandes cultures, la résistance aux herbicides a d’abord concerné des inhibiteurs du photosystème 2 (triazines, groupe C), désormais interdites, ce qui a résolu le problème, puis les inhibiteurs de l’ACCase (anti-graminées : « dimes », « fops », « den ») dans les années 1990-2000. Depuis le milieu des années 2000, la résistance touche aussi les « sulfos », un terme trop restrictif qui désigne en fait les 4 familles chimiques d’inhibiteurs de l’ALS (groupe B). Cet exposé commencera par un rappel sur la classification des herbicides en fonction de leur mode d’action (groupes HRAC). La gestion des betteraves adventices résistantes à un herbicide: une approche par simulation

National audience; Les variétés de betteraves sucrières génétiquement modifiées (GM) résistantes à un herbicide sont, a priori, intéressantes dans des champs fortement infestés par la betterave adventice. Cependant, la montée à fleurs de ces betteraves GM peut entraîner l’apparition d’individus résistants, via la dispersion de pollen. Nous avons développé et utilisé le modèle GENESYS-Betterave pour simuler, à l’échelle d’une petite région agricole, l’impact des pratiques culturales sur la dispersion du transgène.
