Tämä tutkimus tarkastelee lähisuhteissaan väkivaltaisten miesten käsityksiä seksistä heteroseksuaalisen, monogamisen parisuhteen kontekstissa. Huomio kiinnittyi seksille annettuihin merkityksiin, väkivallan ja seksin erottamiseen tai yhdistämiseen sekä seksin sukupuolittamisen tapoihin hoitoryhmissä käydyissä keskusteluissa. La división sexual en la cultura androcéntrica requiere de un trabajo de construcción simbólica que divide por una parte lo visible, los cuerpos; y por otra lo no visible, las subjetividades. Se trata de una separación que genera identidades distintas sobre un arbitrario cultural cargado de hábitos diferentes. Este orden físico y psicosocial se basará en un ideal hegemónico masculino dominante. El siguiente texto es un intento de exponer una pequeña parte de la construcción de dicha masculinidad centrándose en la violencia organizativa que reciben los hombres por el hecho de ser hombres.

Resumen El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar posibles diferencias en satisfacción con la vida, ánimo depresivo, autoconcepto y comunicación familiar entre adolescentes no implicados en violencia de pareja, agresores, víctimas, implicados en el rol de agresor-víctima de forma ocasional e implicados en este rol frecuentemente. Participaron 672 adolescentes españoles (325 chicas, 347 chicos), entre 12 y 19 años (M = 14.45; DT = 1.62). This chapter investigates the institutional and affective practices of domestic violence (DV) interventions in Finnish social work. It examines the expression of social workers’ emotions related to intervening in DV and how these expressions result in the positioning of clients. Encountering and intervening in DV is often challenging; ideological presumptions, conceptions, gender-neutral discussions and misrecognition of violence affect institutional arrangements and practices, and the ways in which professionals feel about and respond to violence.
