In the polychete Hydroides norvegica there are two opercula with different degrees of organization: one is completely developed and functional, the other, present only in rudimentary outline. The latter only begins to develop when the functional operculum is removed. It was observed that in the whole body of the Hydroides, but particularly in the functional operculum, there is a substance which inhibits the development of the rudimental operculum. Abstract The coordination of Me 2 Sn(IV) 2+ to adenosine-5′-monophosphate (AMP) and the related compounds d -ribose-5-phosphate (R5P), d -glucose-1-phosphate (G1P) and d -glucose-6-phosphate (G6P) in aqueous solution was investigated by means of potentiometric titration, and 1 H-, 31 P-NMR and Mossbauer spectroscopic methods in the pH range 2–11 ( I =0.1 M NaClO 4 , 298 K). Background The objective of this study was to describe the oral health status of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) children in a US facility. Material and Methods Twenty CF children ages 6-18 were recruited from Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Pulmonary Clinic. Parents completed a health questionnaire. Clinical examinations checked dental caries using the dmft/DMFT index, dental hygiene using the Simplified Greene-Vermillion Index (DI-S), gingival inflammation using the Community Periodontal Index of Treatment Needs, and enamel defects using the modified Developmental Defects of Enamel Index. Since I began researching adult education in art galleries 20 years ago in Europe, I have noticed two conflicting trends. Contemporary art has become more extraverted and socially engaged, whilst lifelong learning, the discourse of neoliberalism that informs most policy, has become increasingly focused on providing learners with predefined competencies and pushed for ‘measurable’ results (e.g. Pedersen, 2014; Illeris, 2015).

When does morphological decomposition occur in visual word recognition? An increasing body of evidence suggests the presence of early morphological processing. The present work investigates this issue via an orthographic similarity manipulation. Three masked priming lexical decision experiments were conducted to examine the transposed-letter similarity effect (e.g., jugde facilitates JUDGE more than the control jupbe) in polymorphemic and monomorphemic words. If morphological decomposition occurs at early stages of visual word recognition, we would expect an interaction with transposed-letter effects.
