The article presents the results of an educational diagnosis. The study it describes analyses the style of invitations prepared by the Polish middle school pupils and its significant variation despite the fact that the subjects did identical tasks in identical conditions. The author is interested in the pupils’ awareness of style, which is why the study analyses only the texts whose writers have made a deliberate and conscious choice of stylistic models. Vacuum-Deposited Cesium Tin Iodide Thin Films with Tunable Thermoelectric Properties

Most current thermoelectric materials have important drawbacks, such as toxicity, scarceness, and peak operating temperatures above 300 °C. Herein, we report the thermoelectric properties of different crystalline phases of Sn-based perovskite thin films. The 2D phase, Cs2SnI4, is obtained through vacuum thermal deposition and easily converted into the black β phase of CsSnI3(B-β CsSnI3) by annealing at 150 °C. B-β CsSnI3is a p-type semiconductor with a figure of merit (ZT) ranging from 0.021 to 0.033 for temperatures below 100 °C, which makes it a promising candidate to power small electronic devices such as wearable sensors which may be interconnected in the so-called Internet of Things. A search is presented for photonic signatures motivated by generalized models of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking. This search makes use of 20.3  fb[superscript −1] of proton-proton collision data at √s = 8  TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC, and explores models dominated by both strong and electroweak production of supersymmetric partner states. Four experimental signatures incorporating an isolated photon and significant missing transverse momentum are explored. These signatures include events with an additional photon, lepton, b-quark jet, or jet activity not associated with any specific underlying quark flavor. Il principio di autodeterminazione dell'individuo trova il suo fondamento nel dettato costituzionale e,in riferimento al diritto alla salute,si traduce nella possibilità di rifiutare le cure e di scegliere di "lasciarsi morire". Al di là di un difficile e forse non opportuno intervento del legislatore, la Corte di Cassazione ne ha disegnato i caratteri nel noto caso Englaro, avvicinandosi alla soluzione prospettata dal giudice tedesco in un caso simile, giudice che, diversamente, ha potuto fondare la sua decisione oltre che sul principio costituzionale della tutela della dignità umana, sulla legislazione vigente.

È quasi un rito esorcistico, un tentativo di scongiurare la morte l’ultimo libro di Nino De Vita, vincitore del Premio Viareggio-Rèpaci 2012.
