The Finnish sport system consists of three major elements: voluntarism in sport clubs; the public sector with state subsidies for municipalities’ sport budgets; and the private sector’s offering of sport-related services and products. Participation in sport by Finns has traditionally been based on the combination of a strong civic sector and state support. Hegel’s Non-Metaphysical Idea of Freedom

the article explores the putatively non-metaphysical – non-voluntarist, and even non-causal – concept of freedom outlined in Hegel’s work and discusses its influential interpretation by robert Pippin as an ‘essentially practical’ concept. I argue that Hegel’s affirmation of freedom must be distinguished from that of Kant and Fichte, since it does not rely on a prior understanding of self-consciousness as an originally teleological relation and it has not the nature of a claim ‘from a practical point of view’.

This book has outlined the significance of the fitness industry in fifteen European countries, including Flanders in Belgium and England in the United Kingdom. All of these countries and regions follow nowadays the basic principles of the liberal market economy, where the legal and political restrictions for the sport business industry to emerge, develop and grow are minimal. However, as history has shown, in many of the European countries, sport and physical culture have developed around the idea of voluntarism and amateurism during the last ca 100 years.

This article is intended as a contribution to our understanding of the nature of belief as a propositional attitude. After contextualizing the issue, we discuss and reject some accounts of belief as a gamble and as high (near to 1) subjective probability and argue for the claim that believing that p consists in merely attributing a higher subjective probability to p than to not-p being not-p any of p"s alternatives and all of them as a whole. Additionally, we propose that the question which a belief answers is crucial in order to determine the degree of belief and the reasons in its favor. On 8th March 1855, Buenos Aires government hired the exile Silvino Olivieri to create a military force of volunteers. The Legión AgrícolaMilitar had the task of occupying the area of Bahía Blanca, defeating the resistance of indigenous peoples and establishing an agricultural colony. About 500 volunteers took part in the mission that culminated with the birth of Nueva Roma. The project redefined the trajectories of the democratic exile, connecting the patriotism of Risorgimento diaspora with the Argentine republican movement.

Este trabajo analiza si la perspectiva de la elección estratégica (strategic choice) contribuye, más allá de los planteamientos de la teoría contingente, a la generación y descripción de distintos tipos básicos de trabajo.
