The number of ageing entrepreneurs in micro- and small-sized companies is rapidly increasing in Finland and other European Union countries. Over half a million jobs, in over one hundred thousand companies within the EU, are lost annually due to unsuccessful, predominantly retirement-related transfers of businesses. This challenge coincides with EU Grand Challenges and has been highlighted in the Entrepreneurship 2020 Action Plan (European Commission 2013). The aim of this study is to shed light on the varieties of workers´ agencies in working life change situations, which is an under-researched topic in the literature of workplace learning and in working life studies. The rapidly-advancing technological landscape in the European workplace is challenging adults' problem-solving skills. Workers with vocational education and training need flexible abilities to solve problems in technology-rich work settings. Objetivo: El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la prevalencia de satisfacción laboral en una muestra de pediatras. Pacientes y Método: La muestra la formaron 123 pediatras que trabajaban en Servicios de Pediatría de hospitales generales, 89 mujeres (72,4%) y 34 hombres (27,6%). El estudio fue transversal, no aleatorizado. La satisfacción laboral se evaluó mediante una escala de 8 ítems del Cuestionario de Satisfacción laboral S20/23¹.
