Osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) is a well-known adverse drug reaction to bisphosphonate (BP) treatment. ONJ diagnosis is usually based on the patient’s medical/medication histories and on the clinical/radiological features of necrotic bone (frequently exposed).
