METHODS: The French version of the KOOS was developed according to cross-cultural guidelines by using the "translation-back translation" method to ensure content validity. KOOS data were then obtained in patients with symptomatic knee osteoarthritis (OA). Abstract Objective Information and education are recommended for patients with inflammatory arthritis including rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and spondyloarthritis (SpA). However, there is no consensus on which knowledge is essential to enhance patients’ self-management. The aim of this study was to determine such knowledge. Methods Based on published knowledge questionnaires (KQs) collected by a systematic literature review, a list of items was elaborated, classified in domains and sub domains. Methodes Cinquante radiographies de patients atteints de coxarthrose ont ete extraites de la base de donnees de l’etude randomisee et controlee ECHODIAH. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this work was to compare the measurement properties of three categorical X-ray scoring methods of knee osteoarthritis (OA), both on semiflexed and extended views. METHODS: In data obtained from trials and cohorts, X-rays were graded using Kellgren and Lawrence (KL), the OA Research Society International (OARSI) joint space narrowing score, and measurement of joint space width (JSW). Summary Objective To determine factors associated with orthopaedic surgeons' decision to recommend total joint replacement (TJR) in people with knee and hip osteoarthritis (OA).
