Teachers and inclusion: an empirical survey on specialist training for support teachers

2019

This paper illustrates the results of an empirical-experimental research conducted as part of the Specialization Course for support activities, held at the University of Palermo in the academic year 2016/17. The survey, concerning the effectiveness of training courses for teachers for the development of active learning, involved 450 teachers and had the main objective of investigating whether there was an actual increase in specific professional skills functional to school inclusion among those who attended the course. competenze fondamentali per il processo di inclusione di ciascun allievo.

Diagnosis of a Case of Lipoid Pneumonia by Bronchoalveolar Lavage

1987

Exogenous lipoid pneumonia (ELP) was diagnosed by bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) in a 57-year-old woman with a long history of using oily nose drops. Since clinical and roentgenological presentations are nonspecific, BAL, along with specific staining of recovered alveolar macrophages, represents a safe alternative to more invasive diagnostic procedures whenever a diagnosis of ELP is suspected.

Tools to monitor and to evaluate inclusion: an historical review

2021

The management of complexity in the social and educational field recalls the need for the entire teaching staff to make a constant critical reflection to interpret the changing changes that exist within micro and macro socio-cultural contexts, in order to grasp the positivity of creative and innovative stresses, but also the dangerous phenomenon of the expansion of new forms of discomfort and social disintegration, cultural and relational. Inclusive education is a complex activity to be carried out, monitored and promoted because it is characterized by exegetical multidimensionality, plurality of interpretation and difficulties of evaluation. At national and international level, various exp…
