Abstract Background Many critically ill patients are incapable of receiving information or expressing their own opinion on treatment decisions due to the severity of their disease, or because they are under sedation. French legislation requires that when a physician proposes further tests or treatment for a patient, this proposal should be accompanied by clear and honest information that is appropriate in view of the circumstances and the patient's state of health, and the physician must obtain the patient's consent before proceeding. Abstract Fetal ultrasound (FU) is used during almost all pregnancies and makes a large contribution to the identification of fetal malformation. It is particularly difficult to announce a malformation, particularly those affecting the brain, because there are often doubts concerning both the diagnosis and the prognosis. Aim. – The aim of this study was to analyze how imaging for prenatal screening is organized and how couples are managed and supported. Resume Ce projet a comme objectifs d’organiser le partage d’information et d’evaluer son acceptation par les patients et par les professionnels. La methode repose sur : evaluation de l’acceptabilite du recueil des donnees familiales par les patients ; gestion centralisee de dossiers medicaux rendus anonymes ; proposition d’un modele d’identification du patient et evaluation de la faisabilite du recueil de l’identification et de la qualite du chainage des donnees. Resultats L’entretien semidirectif realise par le LEM a permis d’interroger 43 patients, six membres d’association et six professionnels de sante sur l’acceptabilite du recueil.
