Eiropas kultūras galvaspilsētas statusa ietekme uz tūrisma nozari.

Darba mērķis ir novērtēt Eiropas kultūras galvaspilsētas statusa ietekmi uz tūrisma nozari Baltijas valstīs. Darba sākumā tika izvirzīta hipotēze, ka Eiropas kultūras galvaspilsētas statuss būtiski ietekmē tūrisma nozari valstī. Darbs sastāv no trijām nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīts tūrisma jēdziens un darbā izmantotās prognozēšanas metodes. Otrā daļā tiek aprakstītas Lietuvas, Igaunijas un Latvijas tūrisma nozares. Trešā nodaļa iekļauj sevī ekspertu aptaujas rezultātus un tūristu skaita prognozēšanu, izmantojot regresijas analīzi. Darba nobeigumā ir formulēti 13 secinājumi un 9 priekšlikumi. Izaicinājumi un to iespējamie risinājumi, tulkojot šausmu literatūras žanram raksturīgos izteiksmes līdzekļus: franču un latviešu valodas piemērs

Pētījumā tiek aplūkotas šausmu literatūras galvenās iezīmes no literārā un lingvistikas viedokļa un to tulkojums no franču valodas latviešu valodā. Galvenie jautājumi: kādi ir galvenie elementi, kas šausmu literatūra piedalās baiļu radīšanā, tulkošanas stratēģijas, kas izmantotas to tulkošanā, to lietošanas ieguvumi un zaudējumi? Teorētiskā daļa sastāv no 5 nodaļām, kas veltītas konkrētajā pētniecības jomā svarīgāko zinātnisko darbu apskatei. Praktiskajā daļa tika analizēti 6 literārie darbi, no kuriem analīzei iegūti 113 fragmenti, no tiem 12 iekļauti pētījumā, lai pārstāvētu kopējos datus. SARS-CoV-2 infection and venous thromboembolism after surgery: an international prospective cohort study

SARS-CoV-2 has been associated with an increased rate of venous thromboembolism in critically ill patients. Since surgical patients are already at higher risk of venous thromboembolism than general populations, this study aimed to determine if patients with peri-operative or prior SARS-CoV-2 were at further increased risk of venous thromboembolism. We conducted a planned sub-study and analysis from an international, multicentre, prospective cohort study of elective and emergency patients undergoing surgery during October 2020. The Lena River forms a delta, one of the largest in the world. The entire territory of the delta is part of the Ust-Lensky State Natural Reserve. The delta is located beyond the Arctic Circle in a continuous permafrost zone. The delta is crossed by numerous channels and has lakes, streams, hollows, and swamps. In the Russian Arctic sector, ambitious plans for the development of the oil industries are being implemented.
