Plasma-corticosteroids (PCS), free fatty acids (FFA), insulin and glucose were determined continously in maternal blood during the entire course of delivery, from the first stage of labour until 6 hours after delivery. Die Bestimmung von Wachstumshormon (HGH) als Diagnosticum bei chromophoben und eosinophilen Adenomen der Hypophyse

Der Wert der radioimmunologischen Bestimmung von Wachstumshormon (HGH) in der praoperativen Diagnostik von chromophoben und eosinophilen Adenomen der Hypophyse wird an 27 Fallen demonstriert. Als Funktionstest wird die Insulin-induzierte Hypoglykamie angewandt. Eine einfache Maszahl (FHGH) zur Auswertung der Ergebnisse wird vorgeschlagen, die durch Integration der Flachen unter den HGH-Kurven erhalten wird. Als indirekte Testverfahren zur Uberprufung der Hypophysenfunktion dienen ein Metopiron- und ein ACTH-Test.

Leydig-Zell-Funktionstest

Zur Uberprufung der inkretorischen Hodenfunktion wird ein Leydig-Zell-Funktionstest vorgeschlagen, der auf der Bestimmung von Plasmatestosteron vor und nach Stimulation mit HCG beruht. Auf die Notwendigkeit der Ermittlung des reprasentativen Tagesmittels von Plasmatestosteron wird hingewiesen. Venenblut wird am 1. und 4. Tag des Testes um 4.00, 12.00 und 20.00 Uhr abgenommen, und 5000 IE HCG werden am 1., 2. und 3. Tag jeweils um 20.00 Uhr intramuskular gegeben. Plasmatestosteron wird mit Hilfe der kompetitiven Proteinbindung bestimmt.
