This measure intensified the inequity in the distribution of domestic responsibilities, which are assumed mainly by women. The article highlights the opportunity provided by the coronavirus to reflect on the persistence of gender stereotypes and their dreadful consequences in the context of the pandemic.

This article presents the main aspects of the alimony regime that regulate the amount owed by parents to children according to the Argentinian Civil and Commercial Code of 2015. It analyzes the content and amount of the alimony as well as the categories of beneficiaries. Some of these categories are children of legal age who study, unrecognized children and pregnant women. Additionally, it exposes some tensions deriving from hasty interpretations of the shared parental responsibility system. Finally, it explains the measures to take in order to guarantee compliance with the legal obligations of alimony.

El presente artículo analiza la protección jurídica de las personas con discapacidad en la Argentina. A partir del principio general de capacidad jurídica y de ejercicio de todas las personas humanas sin discriminación fijada en el Código Civil y Comercial argentino, se estudian las reglas de presunción de capacidad, de gradualidad de las restricciones y del proceso judicial sobre capacidad conforme los estándares del sistema de Derechos humanos. También se informa sobre los apoyos para el ejercicio de los derechos y la especial protección que se asigna al heredero con discapacidad través de la mejora de su porción sucesoria.
