Synthetic bioceramics implanted into critical sized bone defect of rats with experimental osteoporosis demonstrateds better effect to bone tissue repair in osteoporosis and/or osteoporosis status. Stem cell transplantation may improve bone mineral density in animal models of osteoporosis.
