This article proposes a critical look at the industrialization of cultural venues from the point of view of cultural designers, i.e. mediators and cultural project leaders. The analysis focuses on a network of actors in Burgundy Franche-Comté called Galerie Numérique. This network focuses on the means of sharing new technologies, while partially minimizing the question of the evaluation of mediation devices. It appears that cultural innovation has a communicational dimension, which is minorized from the industrial point of view, and not only of spatio-temporal visibility, information or game. This analysis opens the way to the idea of a thoughtful, integrated and innovative cultural design, capable of articulating these two dimensions in a balanced way.
