Madonie parco arteSettore ICAR/16 - Architettura Degli Interni E Allestimento

description

Lately the interest towards open-air spaces, and mainly public ones, has drawn new attention thanks to the widespread phenomenon of a light transformation outside of the usual indoors container spaces. The park can be seen as a place for experimenting; it is possible to operate in the landscape and in the territory, and thus in the Park of Madonie, in a sensitive way: rather than building in a volumetric and traditional way, the use of light and of specific installations modify the way we perceive an artifact, the way we walk through it, the way we use it more than the individual artifact itself. Four case studies are taken into consideration: they are different but share a common base ingredient: Art/Architecture. Fiumara d’Arte, new Gibellina, the Park of Celle and the Park of Sculpture in Architecture: a punctuation in a diversified territory, a new town, an open-air museum inside an historical garden, an-open air museum in a suburban area.
