It is useless to make an inventory of it, but it is enough to think of the contributions of anthropology (Lévi-Strauss et ses Mythologiques, 1964-1971), of history (Flandrin and Montanari, 1996), of sociology (Corbeau and Poulain, 2002), of philosophy (Onfray, 1995), in its connections with taste marketing (Assouly, 2007), to give itself some guidelines. Also a land of choice for semiotics, so much the solicitations of meaning are manifested in the diversity of practices, with their values and valences, variations of form and content.
