description

Abstract Studies show that symmetric theory construction is problematic. Fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) may be better suited to data analysis and theory construction. The Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy (GIKA) Conferences have consistently endeavored to promote outstanding research. Continuing in this endeavor, this special issue of the Journal of Business Research presents articles that explore “Quantitative and Qualitative Comparative Analysis in Business.” The original papers were presented at the 2017 GIKA Conference, held at ISEG School of Economics and Management, Lisbon, Portugal, from June 28 to 30, 2017. After undergoing double-blind peer review, 37 papers were accepted for publication as articles in this special issue.
