A Systemic Review with Visualization using Adjutant: Application in Case of Febrile Seizure Research

Febrile seizures (FS) on pediatric age is challenging because it’s higher incidence and recurrence as neurologic disorder in childhood. Our study show an approach to perform a systemic, in-depth, updated review analysis with visualization on current knowledge about febrile seizure. We performed a literature search of Pub Med research articles related to febrile seizure that were published until August 2020. The automated search was conducted using R open source package Adjutant with the following query terms: “febrile AND (seizures OR convuls*)”. The search resulted in 8200 documents corpus and 45 cluster topics. This kind of analysis and visualization could be useful for practitioners and researchers by it’s contribution to (i) discover, gather and examine existing knowledge of FS field, (ii) structure, development, planning and even trends of febrile seizure research.
