La “represión de la memoria” es un fenómeno que reconstruye y tergiversa los recuerdos en torno al periodo de ciudadanía activa anterior a la Guerra Civil Española y en torno al brutal proceso represivo del régimen franquista, afectando así a la propia configuración de la sociedad actual. En este trabajo se realiza una diagnosis de este fenómeno en el espacio educativo y se presenta una propuesta didáctica que luche contra esta represión llevando la propia memoria al aula como objeto de estudio e intentando convertir a los alumnos en investigadores y, lo más importante, en ciudadanos críticos The “repressed memory” is a phenomenon that reconstructs and distorts memories around the active citizenship period before Civil War and the francoist repression, affecting the present society.
