Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Sociālie mediji kā pilsētas mārketinga elements: Madonas novada gadījums”. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā sociālajos medijos tiek veidota Madonas novada komunikācija ar abām mērķauditorijām - iedzīvotājiem un apmeklētajiem. Darbs sastāv no teorētiskās daļas, metodoloģijas un empīriskās daļas, kā arī secinājumiem. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatīta teorija par mārketinga komunikāciju, pilsētas mārketingu, sociālajiem medijiem, ka arī par korporatīvo komunikāciju sociālajos medijos. Empīrisko daļu veido interviju analīze, anketu analīze, un sociālo tīklu analīze, izmantojot kontentanalīzes metodi. Darba noslēgumā tiek atspoguļoti rezultāti, secinājumi un ieteikumi.

Resilience to social defeat stress in adolescent male mice.

Adverse social experiences during adolescence are associated with the appearance of mental illness in adulthood. Social defeat (SD) is an ethologically valid murine model to study the consequences of social stress. In adolescent mice, SD induces depressive-like behaviors, increased anxiety and potentiates the reinforcing effects of cocaine and alcohol. However, not all mice exposed to SD will be susceptible to these effects. This paper aims to analyse the metaphors used to describe the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the COVID-19 disease it causes. It furthermore indicates the extent to which these metaphors determine how the pandemic is portrayed in press articles. The cognitive picture of the coronavirus (or pandemic) will be presented with reference to conceptual metaphors, as these are understood by Lakoff and Johnson (2014) and Jäkel (2003). Autore fokusējās uz studiju virzienu kā iespējamu krāsu preferenci ietekmējošo faktoru. Darba ietvaros tika veikts kvazi-eksperimentāls pētījums, kurā tika izmantota aptauja kā datu ievākšanas metode par desmit dažādu krāsu preferenču un astoņu emociju skalu vērtējumiem. Time series forecasting is one of the foremost challenges studied in finance. In this thesis various Convolutional Neural Network and Long Short Term Memory Artificial Neural Network models are used to predict Bitcoin returns. Previous literature has explored using data from Sentiment analysis of Social Media, and Blockchain information in isolation. This thesis seeks to combine the predictive power of earlier smaller models into a larger model that better utilizes a broader category of features in time series prediction. The resulting models are able to predict Bitcoin returns well, beating out simpler methods that do not utilize Artificial Neural Networks.

Objective: We applied an integrated social cognition model to predict physical distancing behavior, a key COVID-19 preventive behavior, over a four-month period. Design: A three-wave longitudinal survey design. Methods: Australian and US residents (N = 601) completed self-report measures of social cognition constructs (attitude, subjective norm, moral norm, perceived behavioral control [PBC]), intention, habit, and physical distancing behavior on an initial occasion (T1) and on two further occasions one week (T2) and four months (T3) later. Klemensevich. At the initial stages, the study of the religious language was, as a rule, reduced to the analysis and description of vocabulary. Currently, scientists are interested in other problems related to this phenomenon, including genres, styles and variants of religious language.

Bakalaura darba “Veselības ministrijas komunikācijas kampaņu par Covid-19 jauniešu vecumā 18-25 vērtējums (2021. gada janvāris - 2021. gada jūlijs)” mērķis ir noskaidrot šo kampaņu ietvaros publicēto reklāmu, par vakcināciju un sociālo distancēšanos, efektivitāti un jauniešu vecumā no 18 līdz 25 vērtējumu par tām. Teorētisko pamatojumu veido četras nodaļas - krīzes komunikācija, veselības komunikācija, ietekmējošā komunikācija, kā arī sociālais mārketings. Pētījuma veikšanai izmantotas divas pētījuma metodes - kontentanalīze un aptauja. Pēc darba izstrādes ir iespējams secināt, ka jaunieši šīs reklāmas vērtē pārsvarā pozitīvi, taču pēc viņu domām tās nav bijušas efektīvas.
