Using data from previous editions, plus 2,143 new measurements from 709 papers, we list, evaluate, and average measured properties of gauge bosons and the recently discovered Higgs boson, leptons, quarks, mesons, and baryons. We summarize searches for hypothetical particles such as supersymmetric particles, heavy bosons, axions, dark photons, etc. Particle properties and search limits are listed in Summary Tables. Eryngium species (Apiaceae) are well known plants in ethnobotanical culture throughout world and also in Turkey. They are used as antitussive, diuretic as well as for analgesic and antiinflammatory purposes in traditional medicine. This study aimed to evaluate the antinociceptive activity of endemic Eryngium kotschyi Boiss. root extracts by bioguided fractionation. The antinociceptive activity of the extracts/fractions/compound was studied in mice using acetic acid induced writhing test and and hot plate test. Il vocabolo “extraneus”, preso in prestito da categorie concettuali di altre branche del diritto, può essere foriero di ambiguità. Esso definisce, appunto, un un estraneo: un forestiero che ha fatto ingresso nella magi-stratura (o per lo meno nelle sue funzioni), attraverso una via eccentrica rispetto al tradizionale concorso. Lo studio si propone di ricostruire le origine storiche delle tre figure di extranei, nel senso sopra indicato: scil: magistrati onorari da una parte e avvocati e professori universitari ammessi in Cassazione ex art. 106 Cost. dall’altra.Verrà esaminata anche la riforma organica della magistra-tura onoraria (d.lgs. 116/2017), soffermandosi sugli aspetti processuali.

Children in the visual coverage of the European refugee crisis: A case study of the World Press Photo 2016

Shifts in the visual coverage of refugees arriving in Europe and prominent compassion fatigue emphasize the need to examine visual strategies utilized to report on the crisis. This study focuses on representations of refugee children using a case of the World Press Photo (WPP) 2016. The material was interpreted with a model for visual rhetorical interpretation of journalistic photographs. Findings indicate the main visual elements involved in representing refugee children: visual trope of the migrant father, relation between children and barriers, visual oxymoron (juxtaposition of contradictory elements) and atmosphere in photographs.  The objective of this paper is an analysis of the course of the 2016 EU referendum campaign from the perspective of the political battle between the parties and between intra‑party factions. Maģistra darbā ir apskatīta bilingvālu skolēnu lasītprasme 4. klasē, kuras aktuālitāti apliecina izglītības pārmaiņas mācību valodas jomā. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt 4. klases bilingvālo skolēnu lasītprasmes sasniegumus. Tiek apskatīti pētāmie terminoloģiskie jautājumi, analizēta zinātniskā literatūra un dokumenti par bilingvālo izglītību un bilingvālu 4. klases skolēnu valodas attīstības īpatnībām, analizēti pētījumi un publikāciju dati par bilingvālu skolēnu sasniegumiem. Veicot PIRLS 2016 pētījuma kvantitatīvo datu analīzi, tiek nonākts pie secinājumiem, ka 4. klasē monolingvālu skolēnu lasītprasmes sasniegumi ir statistiski nozīmīgi augstāki nekā bilingvāliem skolēniem.
