Rapidity correlations in Lambda baryon and proton production in hadronic Z0 decays

In an analysis of multihadronic events recorded at LEP by DELPHI in the years 1992 through 1994, charged hadrons are identified using the measurement of their energy loss and their Cherenkov angle. Rapidity correlations of \La-\La, proton-proton, and \La-proton pairs are compared. The agreement with the string and cluster fragmentation models is tested. For those pairs that frame a meson in terms of rapidity the compensation of strangeness is studied. For \La{}$\overline{\mathrm{p}}$ pairs the additional correlation with respect to charged kaons is analysed.

The text deals with the fragmentary issue of Piotr Skarga’s iconography which is the artistic legacy of the anniversaries celebrated in 1912 and 2012. The remembrance of this Jesuit’s death one hundred years ago stirred up many emotions. It was visible in, for instance, mass manifestations, books, theatre performances or the creations of fine arts. In the reality of the beginnings of the 20th century, what was important was the impact of the image created by Jan Matejko as well as its ideological, virtually mystical, background. This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of the project for the residential complex "Patrizia" in Pavia by Alvar Aalto (1966-1968). Although not realized, for political and economic reasons, the project offers an interesting example of urban planning in an “organic key”. In particular, this paper aims to contextualize the project of Aalto in the broader context of the residential building in Italy after World War II, when the problems of reconstruction and "home" are the heart of the debate on architecture. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on selvittää, millaisia mediarepresentaatioita Suomen ensimmäisenä naispääministerinä toimineesta Anneli Jäätteenmäestä mediassa muodostetaan ja miten median tapa kuvata poliitikkoja on sukupuolittunut. Näitä mediarepresentaatioita eli mediaesityksiä tarkastellaan konstruktivistisesta näkökulmasta. Tutkimuksen teoria nojaa feministiseen politiikan tutkimukseen sekä feministiseen mediatutkimukseen. The commemorations of Dante Alighieri ‘s 700th death anniversary saw in 2021 a ‘national’ and even a ‘nationalist ‘ Dante cropping up once again in the Italian public discourse. This article summarises the history of the public and political uses of the poet of the Divina Commedia: from the end of the 18th century, when his modern cult was born, to the Risorgimento, from the First World War to Fascism, up to the more recent ‘pop’ Dante.
