Spazio, potere e memoria: riflessioni di un geografo su fumetto e cartoon di propaganda

Il contributo discute criticamente e da una prospettiva geografica il nesso tra propaganda, fumetti e cartoons nel periodo dei totalitarismi novecenteschi. Viene quindi esplorato il modo in cui lo spazio, reale e simbolico, sia implicato attraverso le retoriche e le dialettiche del potere, nelle dinamiche sociali, economiche e identitarie.

The contribution critically and from a geographical perspective discusses the link between propaganda comics and cartoons in the period of twentieth-century totalitarianisms. The way in which space real and symbolic is implicated through the rhetoric and dialectics of power in social economic and identity dynamics is then explored.

Giuseppe, oltre che un’importante e sentita ricorrenza religiosa, è a Salemi soprattutto la “festa dei pani”; bellissime realizzazioni di alto artigianato artistico, la cui sapienza si tramanda nelle famiglie e nelle associazioni di donne che per mesi lavorano alla produzione dell’enorme quantità delle piccole e grandi forme di pane, per rivestire le costruzioni votive che accolgono il rito della cena. The feast of St. Joseph as well as an important and heartfelt religious celebration is in Salemi above all the "feast of the loaves"beautiful achievements of high artistic craftsmanship whose wisdom is handed down in the families and in the associations of women who for many months work to produce the enormous quantity of small and large forms of bread to cover the votive constructions that welcome the ritual of dinner.Thus the idea of proposing an "Ecomuseum of wheat and bread" in the Jesuit College was born enhancing and re-opening a space of great historical-architectural interest to the public. As part of the consolidated collaboration of the Municipality of Salemi with the Department of Architecture professors and students worked on a strategic design project for museum set-up and communication also open forms of participation and sharing with the various territorial actors in a sort of 'social conversation' with the protagonists and skills in the field. The paper presents the study of the plaster formulated to imitate the natural stones and marbles that are popular in Sicily in the early twentieth century and points out that the first applications and the dissemination of new mortars also in the rest of Italy feels the influence of the experiments conducted throughout Europe . The contribution summarizes the results of a rigorous and thorough reconnaissance of patents kept in the Archivio Centrale dello Stato in Rome relating to mortars for plastering an artificial stone critically analyzes the content and emphasizes cultural contacts with the experiments on large-scale restoration projects in Italy and France in the late nineteenth century. The analysis of the architectural surfaces is developed with instrumental tests: the levels of adhesion of finishing surface are characterized in particular through a campaign of thermographic investigations and diagnosis is drawn to show that the consolidation of the layers and reintegration are interventions to be introduced within the restoration project and maintenance program.Settore ICAR/19 - Restauro

The projects prepared for "Palermo South-East" are the result of a Graduate Laboratory structured through meetings seminars specialist communications critical exhibitions which - in a shared strategy - saw each student elaborate their work in comparison with others actors of the same Laboratory. The research on "urban projects" was set so that each graduating student was made aware of the projects carried out in the same geographical area by the colleagues who had preceded it so as to be able to operate in continuity and contribute to formulating a unitary reasoning in which each project constituted continuation verification or even variant of the previous ones. These coordinated works have pursued two fundamental objectives: the strengthening of infrastructures and the establishment of specialized public buildings with superior functions aimed at requalifying and regenerating various critical situations with particular attention to the relationship between context and life scenarios. Thus each designer while dealing with a main functional program simultaneously deals with various issues such as the rationalization of the road system the redevelopment of existing buildings the design and refunctionalization of urban services (for example the transformed Central Station in the hotel or the project of a great Mosque)several degree theses have addressed as the main theme or as a question in the background the design of a new bed for the Oreto river and the relative establishment of a park facing it. Riflessioni comparatistiche sulla revoca della cittadinanza per reati di terrorismo

l fenomeno dei cosiddetti “foreign fighters” e il verificarsi di attacchi terroristici in alcuni paesi dell’Unione europea hanno sollevato la questione relativa alla privazione della cittadinanza come misura di contrasto e tutela della sicurezza pubblica. Questo articolo intende contribuire al dibattito sulla legittimità giuridica di tale misura, esaminando i recenti sviluppi della legislazione in materia e le sue applicazioni in Belgio, Francia, Regno Unito e Italia.

The so-called "foreign fighters" phenomenon and the occurrence of terrorist attacks in some EU countries have raised the question of the deprivation of citizenship as a measure of contrast and protection of public security. This article aims to contribute to the debate on the legal legitimacy of that measure by examining recent developments of the legislation on the subject and its applications in Belgium France Uk and Italy.

The study aims to reflect on the training of future primary school teachers by starting from the use of the e-portfolio as an innovative tool to promote the acquisition of reflective and self-evaluation competence within the flipped classroom. The research involved 154 students of Primary Education Master’s Degree Course of the University of Palermo attending to the Docimology course during the academic year 2020/2021. This paper presents the theoretical assumptions objectives and operating methods of a path that made the use of the e-portfolio in flipped classroom to promote the development of docimological skills in higher education. l contributo ripropone la discussione sull’esegesi della fattispecie disciplinata dall’art. 1 comma 2 del d. lgs. n. 81 del 2015 (nel testo anteriore alla riforma del 2019) trattata dall’autore nei Colloqui Giuridici sul Lavoro del 2015 (a cura) di Antonio Vallebona per il Massimario di Giurisprudenza del Lavoro. Lo studio rigettava la tesi che il lavoro organizzato dal committente fosse la terza fattispecie e anzi con riferimento delle condizioni di applicazione dimostrava la necessità di una lettura includente. This article republishes (after the Italian Supreme Court judgement n.166/2020 on the Foodora Italia case) the contribution to the exegesis of the case brought by art. 1 paragraph 2 of the d. lgs. n. 81 of 2015 (in the text before the 2019 reform) delivered by the author in the 2015's "Colloqui Giuridici sul Lavoro" (edited) by Antonio Vallebona for the "Massimario di Giurisprudenza del Lavoro". The study rejected the thesis that the job organised by the client was an intermediate regulation between the employee and the self-employed ones. Indeed regarding the conditions for its application it showed the need for extensive reading. The conclusion was that the new discipline was (and is) an anti-fraudulent one. It led to a (relative) expansion of the area ofsubordination as a consequence of a reduction in the scope of coordinated self-employed work. A little more than four years after that article the Italian Supreme Court (with the judgement n.166/2020) on the Foodora Italia case addresses for the first time the issue of the hetero-organised work (by art. 1 paragraph 2 of the d. lgs. n. 81 of 2015). The Supreme Court fully adheres to the paper's thesis. So in terms of the "remedial" function of the standardthe nature of the organisation's specific conditionand eventually reducing the legal frame for coordinated work. The fact that the procedural matter dealt with the riders was (then and now is) utterly irrelevant for the correct interpretation of such a new provision. Giving to riders of the employee status is not an effect of the peculiarities of the work through digital platforms. It is a consequence of the remedial nature of such a case-law.
