Abstract On the global scale, there is a robust observational evidence that, over the last decades, the frequency and intensity of extreme events significantly changed, even if regional and local studies have highlighted complex and non-uniform spatial patterns. Climate change can cause increased rainfall intensities which leads to an additional impact on drainage systems, due to the alteration of magnitude and frequency of peak flows over their service life. Si bien en la educación presencial uno de los factores clave del éxito es el desempeño del docente dentro del salón de clase, es evidente que dentro de la educación en línea el papel del docente será distinto a su papel tradicional. Por ello, deben revalorarse los factores que garantizarán la calidad en este nuevo tipo de oferta educativa. En este estudio se muestran los resultados obtenidos de un análisis de caso de educación mixta (blended learning) para educación superior, y se enlistan los factores de éxito resultantes, así como algunas barreras para la adecuada implantación.

The present research work aims at the design of a sustainable building, a small holiday home single-family house in Villaggio San Teodoro, Marsala (TP). A territorial classification, the assessment of the climatic data and a study of the solar paths made possible the most passive strategies for the improvement of indoor and outdoor comfort. Most previous longitudinal studies of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in first-episode psychosis (FEP) using cognitive paradigm task found an increased activation after antipsychotic medications. We designed an emotional auditory paradigm to explore brain activation during emotional and nonemotional word processing. This study aimed to analyze if longitudinal changes in brain fMRI BOLD activation is present in patients vs. healthy controls. Fishmeal (FM) was substituted with soybean meal (Glycine max) (SBM) and bambaranut meal (Voandzeia subterranea) (BNM) in 10 experimental African catfish, Clarias gariepinus, diets. Feed formulation was designed using mixture model. The inclusion level of the three protein ingredients varied between 0% and 60%. Remaining 40% comprised of basal ingredients kept constant for all 10 feeds. African catfish of average initial weight 35.2 ± 0.9 g were fed with one of the treatment diets for 28 days. The protein:lipid ratios of the diets (range 1.5–3.4:1) were used in evaluating the feed utilization and growth of the fish. The purpose of this study is to analyse the effect of the perceived utility of a management control system with a broad scope on the use of food waste information and on financial and non-financial performances in restaurants. To collect data, a questionnaire was administered in Brazilian restaurants. Data from 206 restaurants were analysed with structural equation modelling, which was performed with SmartPLS software. Abstract Model matrices consisting of a pectin and a dairy gel were investigated to study the transfer of flavour compounds between the different phases of stirred fruit yoghurt. Using a full factorial experimental design, different parameters (storage temperature, initial flavour concentration in the pectin gel and fat content of the dairy gel) were studied. The kinetics of the migration of flavour compounds between the two gels were investigated using a novel SPME method, where a Carboxen/Polydimethylsiloxane fibre was directly inserted into the pectin gel. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat pertumbuhan ikan Nila pada budidaya sistem resirkulasi. Filtrasi yang digunakan pada budidaya sistem resirkulasi yaitu tanaman H. verticillata dan C. demersum. Metode penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL).
