Bakalaura darba tēmas aktualitātes pamatā ir jautājums, kā nodrošināt Latvijas dabai tik nozīmīgās dabas teritorijas – jūras piekrastes aizsardzību, saglabājot gan tai raksturīgo dabas daudzveidību, gan rekreācijas vērtību, paralēli mazinot erozijas ietekmi. Darbā ir pētīta un apkopota zinātniskā literatūra par Baltijas jūras Latvijas krastu dinamiskajiem procesiem, primāro kāpu attīstību un “zaļajiem” krasta preterozijas pasākumiem. Maģistra darbā veikta Zemgales ledus ezerā un Baltijas ledus ezerā ieplūstošo upju ieleju morfoloģiska analīze ar mērķi izmantot ieleju morfoloģiskos elementus krasta sprostezeru krasta līniju identificēšanā. Pētījuma teritorijas, kas aptver Zemgales līdzenuma DR daļu starp Lielupes un Bērzes upju ielejām, ģeoloģiskie un paleoklimatiskie apstākļi nosaka, ka sprostezeru krasta līniju indikatoru veidošanās un saglabāšanās iespējas ir zemas. Tā dēļ paleorekonstrukcijas veidošanās izmantotas labāk saglabājušās distālās liecības – terasētās upju ielejas. Reconstructions of global hydroclimate during the Common Era (CE; the past-2000 years) are important for providing context for current and future global environmental change. Stable isotope ratios in water are quantitative indicators of hydroclimate on regional to global scales, and these signals are encoded in a wide range of natural geologic archives. Here we present the Iso2k database, a global compilation of previously published datasets from a variety of natural archives that record the stable oxygen (18O) or hydrogen (2H) isotopic compositions of environmental waters, which reflect hydroclimate changes over the CE. Abstract The French Act of 11 February 2005 on equal rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship of people with disabilities highlights the need “for people with disabilities or reduced mobility” to have access to the complete mobility chain of the transport system. This law was initially planned to apply from 2015. Many efforts have been made to improve life for those with physical, visual and, to a lesser extent, hearing impairments. But there is a lot of room for improvement in situations regarding psychological, cognitive and mental impairment. The “genetic erosion” of the soil ecosystem

Abstract This paper takes into consideration the influence of human activities on the loss of pedodiversity in a Mediterranean area due to large scale farming. In particular it examines the quantitative and qualitative soil changes in a period of 53 years (from 1955 to 2008) evaluating the loss of soil diversity at soil subgroups level of the USDA Soil Taxonomy system.
