Anna Murià’s work is on the margins of Catalan exile literature. This article, conceived within the theoretical framework of autobiographical literature, is an attempt to contribute to the clearing up of some of the keys to its interpretation. The fictional and testimonial work of the author makes up a coherent and original autobiographical space.

Resumen Durante la Guerra Civil española (1936-1939) unos 5000 niños y niñas tuvieron que marchar al exilio, encontrando en Bélgica un nuevo hogar de acogida temporal. Al finalizar el conflicto bélico, la mayoría de ellos fueron repatriados y regresaron junto a sus familias o a centros benéfico-paternalistas franquistas. Alrededor de un millar no regresaron por diferentes motivos. Este artículo recoge el testimonio de una decena de estos “niños” hispano-belgas y sus familiares, acudiendo a la historia oral y a la memoria, para recuperar una parte de la historia de la educación y la infancia. W okresie II wojny światowej piłsudczycy, powszechnie obwiniani za klęskę wrześniową w 1939 r., znaleźli się w politycznej izolacji. Od początku marca 1942 r. piłsudczycy w Wielkiej Brytanii wydawali powielany biuletyn „Listy z Londynu”. Pojedynczy egzemplarz czasopisma liczył zazwyczaj od czterech do dziesięciu stron gęsto zapisanego maszynopisu w formacie A4. Powołanie własnego organu prasowego było sporym sukcesem. W artykule przedstawiono reakcje różnych środowisk emigracyjnych na wybór kardynała Karola Wojtyły na papieża. Analizie poddano najważniejsze tytuły prasy emigracyjnej ukazującej się Wielkiej Brytanii, która była centrum politycznym wychodźstwa oraz we Francji. Wybór Polaka na papieża środowiska emigracyjne uznały powszechnie za wydarzenie historyczne. Niektórzy porównywali je nawet do chrztu Polski. The homeland association movement in Germany is an important element of the social and political landscape of that country. The importance of this movement and its influence upon the political system of Germany underwent evolution. This essay examines the novel Seltsame Sterne starren zur Erde (2003) of the Turkish-German author Emine Sevgi Özdamar and the collection of essays In Deutschland leben (2004) of Iranian-German poet SAID. The focus of this work intends to show what different aspects multiculturalism may have at each different writers. Özdamar was born in Malatya in 1946. She woked in Germany as an actress, director and writer and became the symbol of a bridge-builder between the eastern and western culture.
