Digital displacement technology has the potential of revolutionizing the performance of hydraulic piston pumps and motors. Instead of connecting each cylinder chamber to high and low pressure in conjunction with the shaft position, two electrically-controlled on/off valves are connected to each chamber. This allows for individual cylinder chamber control. Surface Characteristics of Machined Polystyrene with 3D Printed Thermoplastic Tool

An effort is made in this work to appraise the surface characteristics of machined expandable polystyrene (EPS) with a novel 3D printed thermoplastic acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) tool. Linear grooves on EPS were made on a vertical milling machine that was modified to conduct experiments in the laboratory. The tests were designed as per the Taguchi L9 based factorial design of experimentation while varying process parameters such as depth of cut, spindle speed, and feed rate. In this paper, the description of a series of quasi-static pushing tests and dynamic snap-back tests is proposed, involving the base-isolated emergency building of the Palermo university hospital. Basado en la teoria de las necesidades psicologicas basicas, se puso a prueba un modelo en el cual la presentacion de las tareas realizada por el entrenador predice la satisfaccion de las necesidades psicologicas basicas y el bienestar psicologico en los atletas universitarios. La muestra estuvo compuesta por un total de 468 deportistas (302 hombres y 166 mujeres), con edades comprendidas entre los 17 y los 28 a˜nos (M = 19.2; DT = 1.89), que cumplimentaron los instrumentos que evaluaban las variables del estudio.
