Il mercato dell’informazione e il regime della libertà di manifestazione del pensiero hanno subito ingenti mutamenti nell'era di internet, determinando fra l'altro la crisi dei media. Lo studio approfondisce i modelli attraverso i quali vengono selezionate le informazioni on line e quelli di distribuzione delle stesse ed evidenzia i rischi derivanti dalle fake news e dagli hate speach, che soffocano il "mercato delle idee" e della informazione, concludendo con una riflessione sulle possibilità di regolazione del fenomeno.

This analysis, which focuses on the difficult relationship between criminal justice and judicial information, examines only some of the most controversial aspects, starting with an undisputed premise, namely that over time the function of communication in judicial matters has changed, evolving from informative to formative. I will reflect on the hiatus between the real justice as exercised in courtrooms and justice perceived by the public through media narratives, paying particular attention to the distortions of the so-called media trial and the resulting bias in the exercise of judicial power. One of the keys to overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic is the development of the vaccine in order to immunize the population. In addition to the medical complications to obtain the vaccine, we highlight the presence of other problems, such as the dissemination of fake news that add difficulties to overcoming the global problem, especially due to its incidence in the field of anti-vaccine movements, which have developed, with special presence in Italy in recent years. For this, we warn of the need to be prepared to overcome the two pandemics that are developing in parallel, the one caused by the virus and the one generated by the fake news.

Old ideologies, defined as «grand narratives», seem to have faded away, but this is not a conclusive argument to state that ideology has, itself, disappeared. In fact, there are strong reasons to believe that it has not. In the first part, this article offers a synthetic survey of some of the most significant conceptions of ideology in order to avoid the confusion generated by uncritical uses of the term. Chosen as word of the year in 2016 by the Oxford Dictionaries, post-truth is a very recent neologism, spread on the wave of recent political events (particularly Brexit and Trump's election in 2016). What I would like to emphasise here is that post-truth, along with fake-news, refers to issues that are by no means new nor exclusively linked to modernity. I am referring in particular to the debate in ancient Greece on the relationship between truth and lies in political action and the relationship between 'fact' and the discourse that represents it (i.e. between ergon and logos).

Bakalaura darbā “Zemās sieviešu pārstāvniecības parlamentā cēloņi: Latvijas gadījuma analīze” tiek apskatīts aizvien aktuālais jautājums par to, kādēļ Latvijas parlamentā ir tik maz sieviešu. Situācija tiek analizēta, balstoties uz tā saukto pieprasījuma – piedāvājuma teoriju. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā pieprasījuma puses faktori jeb sieviešu vēlme kandidēt vēlēšanās ietekmē zemo pārstāvniecību parlamentā. Atbilstoši tam pētījuma empīriskajā daļā tiek veikts kvantitatīvs pētījums, lai noteiktu trīs profesiju grupas pārstāvošo sieviešu vēlmi darboties politikā un kandidēt Saeimas vēlēšanās, kā arī tiek intervētas pašreizējās Saeimas deputātes, lai, balstoties uz viņu pieredzi, iegūtu viņ…
