Aikuisten S2-oppijoiden kielenoppimisen kokemuksia selkomukautetun kaunokirjallisuuden parissa

Artikkeli käsittelee oppimisen kokemuksia selkomukautetun kaunokirjallisuuden parissa kotoutumiskoulutuksen lukupiirissä. Aineistona ovat lukupiirien 24 osallistujan haastattelut. Haastattelut on tehty osallistujien toisella kielellä tai lingua franca -englannilla, ja niitä lähestytään fenomenologista ajattelutapaa hyödyntäen kertomuksina oppimisen kokemuksista. Kokemukset vaihtelevat yksilöllisesti, ja tärkeimmiksi merkityskokonaisuuksiksi nousevat sanat, kielen rakenteet ja kielenkäyttö. Este trabajo pretende abordar algunas de las particularidades de las representaciones de la violencia política en la novela actual en lengua vasca. A partir de la constatación de que en la sociedad vasca, como en toda sociedad, existe un conflicto entre memorias de violencias de distinto signo, el artículo pretende ilustrar cómo se han articulado cuestiones tales como las categorías de víctima y victimario, cuya distinción no es siempre nítida, o los orígenes de la violencia política en dos novelas vascas actuales: Soinujolearen semea (El hijo del acordeonista) de Bernardo Atxaga y Antzararen bidea (El camino de la oca) de Jokin Muñoz. This article contrasts “The Finkelstein 5” and “Zimmer Land”, from Nana Kwame Adjei Brenyah’s short story collection Friday Black (2018) with the “Untitled” series from Mohale Mashigo’s Intruders (2018), using Mark Dery’s definition of Afrofuturism as a reading grid and a starting point. While both collections draw on the codes of science fiction and dystopia to portray racialized characters in futuristic settings to examine their relation to technology and their place in fictional ‘future’ societies, they take on different approaches. The setting of “The Transition of Juan Romero” – the short story by Howard Phillips Lovecraft, who was the originator of modern American horror fiction – is “the gold mine in the Cactus Range”. Drawing on the theories of Carl Gustav Jung, the author of the present interpretation amplifies the cultural dimensions of Lovecraft’s text, giving prominence to its origin from the ancient myths of the Aztecs, and using the so-called psychological alchemy to show the archetypal symbolism and structure of the story. La ciencia ficción y la enseñanza de las ciencias

Este trabajo constituye una primera aproximación a la ciencia en la ciencia ficción desde el punto de vista del alumnado y qué posibilidades ofrece como recurso didáctico. Sondeamos, por tanto, si los alumnos conocen y han visto cine de ciencia ficción, así como si este factor influye en sus actitudes hacia la ciencia y los científicos y su opinión sobre las consecuencias de los avances científicos en el futuro. Asimismo, nos planteamos si los estudiantes perciben las visiones deformadas de la ciencia y los científicos que transmite el cine de ciencia ficción. Pretendemos, asimismo, estudiar si se utiliza la ciencia ficción como recurso didáctico.
