International audience; Methane and its tetrahedral isotopologues are spherical-top molecules whose high-resolution rovibrational spectra can only be analyzed in detail, thanks to sophisticated symmetry-adapted tensorial models. However, the effective Hamiltonian parameters of such models do not give direct access to the positions of the vibrational sublevels. With data from 33 nations, we illustrate the differences between cultures that are tight (have many strong norms and a low tolerance of deviant behavior) versus loose (have weak social norms and a high tolerance of deviant behavior). Although there is a substantial literature on the role of parenting in adolescent substance use, most parenting effects have been small in magnitude and studied outside the context of genetically informative designs, raising debate and controversy about the influence that parents have on their children (D. C. Rowe, 1994). Using a genetically informative twin-family design, the authors studied the role of parental monitoring on adolescent smoking at age 14. On Combinatorial Generation of Prefix Normal Words

A prefix normal word is a binary word with the property that no substring has more 1s than the prefix of the same length. This class of words is important in the context of binary jumbled pattern matching. In this paper we present an efficient algorithm for exhaustively listing the prefix normal words with a fixed length. The algorithm is based on the fact that the language of prefix normal words is a bubble language, a class of binary languages with the property that, for any word w in the language, exchanging the first occurrence of 01 by 10 in w results in another word in the language. Normal forms of hyperbolic logarithmic transseries

We find the normal forms of hyperbolic logarithmic transseries with respect to parabolic logarithmic normalizing changes of variables. We provide a necessary and sufficient condition on such transseries for the normal form to be linear. The normalizing transformations are obtained via fixed point theorems, and are given algorithmically, as limits of Picard sequences in appropriate topologies.
