In 2008, the first Proficiency Testing Scheme of Chemical Oxygen Demand (1stCOD-PTADG) was conducted to assess the results obtained for different research groups whose field work is mainly anaerobic digestion. This study was performed using four samples, two solid samples as raw materials and two solid samples to prepare high concentration suspended solid solutions. Invitations were sent to a large number of laboratories, mainly to anaerobic digestion research groups. Formic acid (FA) plays a key role in the preparation of silk fibroin (SF) scaffolds from cocoons of Bombyx mori and is used for fibre distribution. In this study, we used a subcutaneous implantation model in Wistar rats to examine SF scaffolds prepared by treating the degummed cocoon with FA for either 30 or 60 min. Summary Cancer stem cells (CSCs) play a key role in tumor initiation and progression. A real-time tool to evaluate the activation of CSC-specific signaling pathways is crucial for the study of this cancer cell subset. Here, we present a protocol to monitor, in vitro, the activation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, which is considered a functional biomarker for colorectal CSCs (CR-CSCs). This flow-cytometry-based protocol allows it to isolate CR-CSCs and to evaluate their cytotoxicity upon anti-tumor treatments. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran fisika berbasis media laboratorium virtual , Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS), dan persepsi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah fisika dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pre-eksperimental design dan teknik purposive sample digunakan untuk memilih sampel yaitu kelas pendidikan fisika dan pendidikan matematika Universitas Papua. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar observasi dan penilaian KPS serta angket persepsi mahasiswa yang dinilai di akhir pembelajaran.
