Maģistra darbā “Ārtelpas video aktivitātes kā iekļaujošs mācību līdzeklis svešvalodu apguvē pusaudžiem” tiek pētīta svešvalodas apguves vēsture un patreizējās tendences, kā arī ārtelpas aktivitātes kā svešvalodas apguvi veicinošs mācību līdzeklis nodarbībās pusaudžiem. Datu ieguvei par ārtelpas aktivitāšu laikā iegūtajiem rezultātiem pētījumā tiek izmantots formatīvais skolotāja vērtējums un skolēna pašvērtējums. Pētījuma mērķis ir atklāt saistības starp ārtelpas video aktivitāšu sniegtajiem svešvalodas apguves rezultātiem un skolēnu pašvērtējumu un skolotāja vērtējumu. Pašvadītas mācīšanās “Es protu apgalvojumi” skolēnu vispārējai angļu valodas mācību sasniegumu uzlabošanai 4. klasē

Diplomdarbs tika izstrādāts, lai padziļinātu izpratni par “Es protu apgalvojumu” izmantošanu kā pašvadītu mācīšanās prasmju novērtēšanas instrumenta faktisko pielietojumu un lai noteiktu, vai tas palīdz uzlabot skolēnu angļu valodas sasniegumus. Diplomdarba mērķis bija izpētīt, kā pašvadītas mācīšanās “Es protu apgalvojumus” var izmantot angļu valodas stundās, lai uzlabotu skolēnu angļu valodas sniegumu 4. klasē. Par pētījuma metodi tika izvēlēts gadījuma pētījums. Rajallinen työmuisti S2-oppijoiden puheenymmärtämisvaikeuksien selittäjänä

Tässä artikkelissa käsittelen työmuistin rajallisuuden ja aikuisten suomenoppijoiden puheenymmärtämisvaikeuksien yhteyttä tarkastelemalla oppijoiden kuuntelutehtäväsuorituksia ja niitä seuraavia stimulated recall -haastatteluja. Lisäksi selvitän, millaisilla muistitoiminnoilla oppijat kompensoivat työmuistin rajallisuutta ja helpottavat ymmärtämistä. Tutkimukseen osallistui 12 arabiankielistä alkeis- ja perustason aikuista suomenoppijaa, ja aineisto koostuu oppijoiden kuuntelutehtäväsuoritusten ja stimulated recall -haastattelujen videotallenteista. This quantitative research investigates the extent to which adult L2 learners act in line with what they declare to believe in regarding pronunciation learning. In other words, this paper focuses on determining the strength of the relationship between the frequency of use of L2 pronunciation learning strategies (PLS) and the beliefs the individuals hold on selected factors affecting pronunciation acquisition, pronunciation instruction, self-efficacy, pronunciation learning goals and affective factors in pronunciation learning. Visually grounded human-robot interaction is recognized to be an essential ingredient of socially intelligent robots, and the integration of vision and language increasingly attracts attention of researchers in diverse fields. The aim of this chapter is to compare the types of interaction that take place in two different contexts of L2 Italian learning. In the first context learners attend a task-based language learning (TBLL) course, in the second they attend a course based on a more generic communicative approach. Our hypothesis is that different interaction patterns may be observed in relation in different teaching contexts. Our analysis shows that this is indeed the case. These results may help to consider the importance of the method as a factor in guided learning contexts.
