Improving point matching on multimodal images using distance and orientation automatic filtering

International audience; Speed Up Robust Features SURF is one of the most popular and efficient methods used for image registration task. In order to achieve a correct registration, a good matching of feature point is required. However in the case of multimodal images, the high and non-linear intensity changes between different modalities led to many outliers (mismatching of detected points) and consequently a fail in the registration. J.C. Maier – a previously known aide to Bluhme in the transcription of the Veronese palimpsest of Justinian’s Code. This paper calls into question the idea that in the summer of 1823 Maier worked together with Bluhme at the decipherment of the palimpsest of Gaius’ Institutes preserved in the Capitular Library of Verona (Verona, B. Cap., Cod. XV). A comprehensive analysis of the sources leads to the conclusion that Maier helped Bluhme in the same library for the transcription of the palimpsest of Justinians’ Code (Verona, B. An Italian survey of pitches for soccer

On soccer grounds, grass cover is often reduced and the ground surface becomes uneven. Therefore, in order to assess the effects of climatic conditions, construction types and maintenance of the Italian soccer pitches, a detailed study was carried out. During 2000-2001, 61 soccer grounds were analysed, from continental to Mediterranean environments. First and second division Italian League grounds were about 30%, 40% were semi-professional and 30% were public grounds. Le fait que de nombreux jeunes se trouvent en situation de chômage, après un contrat d'apprentissage, apparaît paradoxal au regard des difficultés de recrutement annoncées par les employeurs. La vulnérabilité des apprentis sur le marché du travail s'est en réalité aggravée au fil du temps. Les aléas conjoncturels, et notamment la dernière récession économique qui a provoqué une forte baisse de l'emploi dans de nombreuses activités, n'ont pas remis en cause les principales tendances du secteur.

A class of thin vaults, the so-called “bovedas tabicadas”, which represent one of the most common Spanish traditional building techniques at the end of XIX century are studied here, treating the relevant analysis problem through a numerical, as well as an experimental, approach. Plastmasas iepirkumu maisiņu patēriņš un to radītais vides piesārņojums ir globāla mēroga problēma un apdraudējums ilgtspējīgas vides saglabāšanai. Latvijas iedzīvotājs gada laikā vidēji izmanto 190 plastmasas iepirkumu maisiņus. 2019. gada 1. Experimental evaluation of hypertext access structures

Transient hypertextual access structures (THASs) are temporary graphs formed automatically on the basis of the situation-dependent information needs of software engineers. The approach is implemented in the HyperSoft system, which is a hypertext-based software maintenance support tool. THASs highlight the relevant parts of the program and enable nonlinear browsing between them. The system also supports various graphical views whose elements are linked to the program text.
