Problemi di Conservazione di un'opera di Land Art di straordinarie dimensioni: il Grande Cretto di Alberto Burri a Gibellina (TP)

This work deals with the conservation of one of the largest land art works in the world. It is a sort of white shroud laid on the ruins of the town of Gibellina, Sicily, after the tremendous earthquake of January 1968. The most significant aspects of the degradation phenomena observed on site are related to some faults in the construction, due to the prevailing of the artistic requirements over the good rules of concrete technology. Furthermore the guidelines for both a conservation intervention and the subsequent maintenance of the art work are also indicated.

This study reviews research publications topically related to day centres for people with mental health problems. The purposes are to give a general overview of the evidence-based knowledge in the field, to detect gaps of knowledge, and to throw light on the following research questions: (1) Which ideologies about day centres may be revealed in Scandinavian- and English-speaking research on day centres for people with mental health problems; and (2) What significance do the day centres have for the users?Both questions are answered by examining 34 research publications, printed in either Scandinavian or English languages during the period 1962-2015. Bakalaura darba mērķis: Atbalsta materiālu izveide efektīvākai tēmas „Algebriskas nevienādības” apguvei. Lai sasniegtu darba mērķi, autore veica pētījumu, aptaujājot 13 matemātikas skolotājas no trīs novadu skolām. Analizējot aptauju, autore noskaidroja matemātikas skolotāju viedokli par tēmas „Algebriskas nevienādības” mācību procesu. Autore secināja, ka tēma „Algebriskas nevienādības” skolēniem ir saprotama, ja ir stabilas un labas pamatzināšanas no pamatskolas kursa. The present paper deals with the investigation of quasi-static and dynamic mechanical response of epoxy-based composites reinforced with flax and/or jute plain weave fabrics. In order to evaluate the influence of the stacking sequence, two monolithic laminates reinforced with flax or jute fibers and two hybrid flax/jute laminates were manufactured through the vacuum infusion technique. Furthermore, an eco-friendly and cost-effective surface treatment based on fiber soaking in a sodium bicarbonate solution was employed to improve the fiber-matrix adhesion. Abstract In the present study rheological, static and impact tests are carried out on two adhesive resins usually employed in marine applications; then single lap joint tests are conducted on composites joints evidencing the effect of the curing time of both resins on the mechanical properties of the joint.
