[EN] The sociological imagination (Wright Mills, 1993) is fundamental in the teaching profession. It is not possible to understand individuals’ actions of the different education agents without knowing their place in the social structure. The objective of this proposal is that the students of the Degree in Preschool Education (University of Valencia) achieve this point of view. The project starts with a flipped classroom methodology in combination with other active methodologies to end contrasting scientific knowledge with the daily teacher’s work, through the realization and analyses of interviews.

[EN] Purpose: This paper studied the measurement invariance (MI) across web-based and paper-based surveys to evidence if both techniques of data collection can be regarded as equivalent. Design/methodology: We develop a multigroup confirmatory factor analysis (MGCFA) with Maximum Likelihood Estimation to asses measurement invariance of the Job Diagnostic Survey (JDS) adapted to teaching, with data collected from paper and web surveys. Sample from paper surveys was constituted by 294 student of a Spanish public university in the academic years 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10. En este estudio exploratorio se evalúa el conocimiento didáctico del contenido (CDC) sobre pilas galvánicas de profesores de secundaria en formación y en ejercicio. Además, este conocimiento se ha relacionado con los enfoques de enseñanza que prefieren. Para este propósito, se ha adaptado el instrumento CoRe de Loughran, Mulhall y Berry (2004) considerando dos situaciones: pila Daniell y pila voltaica simple. La muestra se compuso de 25 profesores en formación y de 15 profesores en ejercicio.
