Universitātes studiju procesam vajadzētu veicināt studējošo kritisko domāšanu, kas ir zinātnes pamats. Tā rezultātā vajadzētu mazināties studējošo piekrišanai epistēmiski nepamatotiem apgalvojumiem, īpaši sabiedrības intereses apdraudošajiem pseidozinātnisku teoriju apgalvojumiem. Aptaujas pētījumā, kas veikts divu Latvijas universitāšu divās fakultātēs (izlases lielums N=216; N(a)=111, N(b)=105), konstatēts, ka studējošo kvantitatīvā studiju pieredze (studiju gads, kurss un līmenis) statistiski nozīmīgi neasociē ar piekrišanu kļūdaini par zinātniskām uzskatītu teoriju (KPZUT), jeb pseidozinātņu apgalvojumiem. Reception of the quality assurance commitments of the Bologna process in Finnish higher education institutions

AbstractThis article analyses Finnish higher education institutions’ reception of the implementation of the new quality assurance systems that governments participating in the Bologna Process have committed to establishing in the Berlin Communique of 2003. The data were collected using a web survey and the respondents were classified with a cluster analysis. The reception was more positive in the polytechnics than in the research universities and women were more positive than men. People working in managerial positions were most positive about, and committed to, quality assurance. Most critical were young researchers in research universities working in temporary jobs. Diplomdarbs „Priekšstatu veidošana par laiku pirmsskolas izglītības 3. posmā” ir izstrādāts, lai noskaidrotu, kā izveidot 3. posma bērniem priekšstatu par laiku pirmsskolā. Bērniem jau pirmsskolas vecumā ir nepieciešams iemācīties orientēties laikā: noteikt un izmērīt laiku, plānot un regulēt savu darbību laika gaitā. Diplomdarba autore ir Jūlija Smirnova. Tutkielmassa tarkastelen prosessin kehittämistä lainsäädäntöprosessin ja julkisen hallinnon tietotekniikan (IT:n) uudistamisen näkökulmista. Tutkielmassa yhdistyvät toimintaprosessien kehittämisen ja sähköisen julkisen hallinnon tieteellisen tutkimisen näkökulmat. Tarkastelen lainsäädäntöprosessin kehittämistä osana julkisen hallinnon arkkitehtuurikehyksen mukaista toiminta-arkkitehtuuria. Tutkielma on kirjallisuuskatsaus lainsäädäntöprosessin ja sen tietojärjestelmätuen kehittämiseen liittyvään tietojärjestelmätieteen tutkimukseen. Analysis of the performance of the TES algorithm over urban areas

International audience; The temperature and emissivity separation (TES) algorithm is used to retrieve the land surface emissivity (LSE) and land surface temperature (LST) values from multispectral thermal infrared sensors. In this paper, we analyze the performance of this methodology over urban areas, which are characterized by a large number of different surface materials, a variability in the lowest layer of the atmospheric profiles, and a 3-D structure. These specificities induce errors in the LSE and LST retrieval, which should be quantified.
