Sākoties jaunajam mācību gadam, pakāpeniska jaunā mācību satura ieviešana ir kļuvusi par vienu no svarīgākajām sarunu tēmām skolās. Projekta Skola2030 mērķis bija attīstīt skolēniem vairākas svarīgas 21. gadsimta prasmes, kā arī koncentrēt uzmanību uz mācību priekšmetu padziļinātu izpratni un padziļināti izprast mācību vielu nevis sadrumstaloti. 2020./2021. mācību gadu skolēni pavadīja attālināti, un tas sagādāja grūtības attīstīt rakstīšanas prasmes angļu valodas mācību stundās. Tāpēc tika izvēlēta daudznozaru un savstarpējās sadarbības pieeja, lai attīstītu visas nepieciešamās prasmes. The terrestrial biosphere is currently slowing down global warming by absorbing about 30% of human emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2). The largest flux of the terrestrial carbon uptake is gross primary production (GPP) defined as the production of carbohydrates by photosynthesis. Elevated atmospheric CO2 concentration is expected to increase GPP (“CO2 fertilization effect”). However, Earth system models (ESMs) exhibit a large range in simulated GPP projections. Kaon femtoscopy in Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN=2.76 TeV

We present the results of three-dimensional femtoscopic analyses for charged and neutral kaons recorded by ALICE in Pb-Pb collisions at √ s NN = 2.76 TeV. Femtoscopy is used to measure the space-time characteristics of particle production from the effects of quantum statistics and final-state interactions in two-particle correlations. Kaon femtoscopy is an important supplement to that of pions because it allows one to distinguish between different model scenarios working equally well for pions. In particular, we compare the measured three-dimensional kaon radii with a purely hydrodynamical calculation and a model where the hydrodynamic phase is followed by a hadronic rescattering stage. Cold-water corals (CWCs) are important ecosystem engineers in the deep sea that provide habitat for numerous species and can form large coral mounds. These mounds influence surrounding currents and induce distinct hy- drodynamic features, such as internal waves and episodic downwelling events that accelerate transport of organic matter towards the mounds, supplying the corals with food. To date, research on organic matter distribution at coral mounds has focussed either on seasonal timescales or has provided single point snapshots.
