The critical note aims to reflect on the meaning of a reflection on the Italian cultural tradition starting from Corrado Claverini’s book La tradizione filosofica italiana. Quattro paradigmi interpretativi, published by Quodlibet, in 2021. According to Claverini, the Italian philosophy has a polychromatic tradition capable of overcoming both nationalism and globalism. EnglishOpinions on the pauperism of Camus are influenced by his knowledge of classical antiquity, but his proposals are in the line of Catholic social thought that begins to conform in France from 1840. Camus is among the first scholars in Spain to expose the ideas of the main ideologists of this ideological current.

In everyday communication metaphoric expressions are frequently used to refer to abstract concepts, such as feelings or mental states. Patients with depression are said to prefer literal over figurative language, i.e. they may show a concreteness bias. Given that both emotional functioning and the processing of figurative language may be altered in this clinical population, our study aims at investigating whether and how these dysfunctions are reflected in the understanding and production of metaphorical expressions for internal states. El matrimonio en el pensamiento social de Luis Vives: entre la antropología y la teoría política

Se estudia el pensamiento de Vives acerca del matrimonio, defendiendo que este forma parte no solo de sus ideas pedagogicas, sino tambien de su pensamiento social. Se analiza primero el matrimonio como ley natural y, mas extensamente, como ley humana. Se ponen de manifiesto algunas similitudes entre las ideas expuestas por el humanista y la moderna antropologia del parentesco, especialmente en lo relativo a la relacion entre prohibicion del incesto y exogamia.
